Welcome to Megan's awesome hiking Adventure.
Megan, Jen, Scott, & Lucky set out to hike the Appalachian Trail in March 1997.
As you'll read in Megan's Journal, things didn't exactly turn out as planned.
The first 100 miles are filled with lessons of things to consider before heading
out on a 2,149 mile hike. The wrong, or defective, equipment can make life on the
trail pretty uncomfortable, and carrying more equipment than you need soon takes it's toll
on your body. This was an adventure none of us will ever forget. Read on ..
